SLOW COOKER BEEF TIPS WITH GRAVY — This simple slow cooker meal is total comfort food. Served with buttered noodles or mashed potatoes, it's the perfect meal for a chilly evening.
When it comes to serving up hearty, satisfying comfort food, it doesn't get much better than Slow Cooker Beef Tips with Gravy.
To say this meal is a family favorite would be a huge understatement. And it's a favorite of mine to make because it's so simple and easy to put together.
I'm pretty sure my husband and boys would eat this multiple times a week and never get tired of it. Especially when I serve it over a generous pile of buttery mashed potatoes.
It's also great with noodles and rice, but mashed potatoes are definitely our favorite side for this savory beef dish.
And because it cooks all day in the slow cooker, the meat always comes out perfectly tender and delicious. In fact, I'd say this is one of my family's favorite slow cooker meals.
It's definitely worth the extra few minutes it takes to brown the stew meat in a skillet. It adds so much flavor to the finished dish. Trust me, you won't regret the extra five minutes you spend on this step.
If you like mushrooms, they are a great addition to this dish. My husband loves them, but my boys don't, so I usually don't include them. You could also serve sautéed mushrooms on the side.
This is truly one of the easiest slow cooker meals you'll ever make. It might me take longer to make the mashed potatoes than it takes to get this dinner in the Crock Pot.
And this is an especially satisfying meal during the colder winter months. Plus it makes the kitchen smell amazing while it simmers in the slow cooker.
Slow Cooker Beef Tips with Gravy is definitely a favorite meal at my house, and it's sure to be a favorite at your house too!
